                            Dr. Werner Dohmen, lives and works in Aachen. Teaching practice
                            for general medicine at the Medical Faculty of the RWTH Aachen
                            University. Founding member of the Neuer Aachener Kunstverein
                            (NAK)  1986,  chairman  of  the  board  since  1988.  Since  the  mid-
                            1980s establishment of a collection of contemporary art, with spe-
                            cial focus on artistic positions of non-Western provenance. Werner
                            Dohmen is currently very engaged in the intercultural project ‚No
                            es arte‘.

                            Oliver Zybok: You are involved as a collector in the work of the ‚No es
                            arte‘ research group. Can you say something about the project?   are now in museums, private property or on the market. Often the-
